Job summary

Cadence Education in Clackamas, OR seeks a passionate Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations and Cadence programs. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment for children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, including those with IEPs.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you’ll maintain routines, support curriculum delivery, and build positive relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to follow safety procedures including allergy and safe sleep practices.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (IEPs).
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents as required.
• Assist in managing and documenting child behaviors per policy.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
