Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities and Cadence programs. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s development, including those with IEPs, while ensuring licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures including allergy and Safe Sleep practices.
• Ability to work as part of a classroom team.
• Read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build welcoming relationships.
• Follow IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Document and report accidents and incidents per policy.
• Help manage and report escalated child behaviors.
• Adhere to Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings and professional development.
