Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) invites applications for an Infant/Toddler Teacher Trainee role within our early childhood program. You will work with an experienced teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing environment supporting physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with documentation, plus passing DCF competency exams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with DOE-accepted documentation.
• Transcript showing passing all competency exams for the DCF Child Care Training.
• One of: FCCPC Birth-5 years OR Infant Toddler National CDA OR ECPC OR CCAC OR 9 college credits in ECE + 3 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with an experienced teacher and center coordinator to support infants/toddlers.
• Observe and assess children's development to support RCMA School Readiness goals.
• Maintain safe and healthy classroom conditions.
• Engage with families as a partner.
