Job summary

Norwescap in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Pre-K educator to implement curriculum, uphold Head Start standards, and support at-risk children in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves supervising children, planning lessons to boost school readiness, conducting screenings and data entry, and fostering family partnerships. A Bachelor's in ECE with P-3 certification and NJ P-3 credentials are required; Head Start experience preferred; 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with P-3 teaching certification is required.
• NJ P-3 certificates may satisfy certification requirements.
• Experience working with young children is required.
• 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk populations preferred.
• Head Start experience is preferred.
