Job summary

Norwescap in New Jersey seeks an enthusiastic early childhood educator to implement Pre-K curriculum and uphold Head Start standards in a fast-paced nonprofit setting. You will collaborate with the Phillipsburg School District ECLC, supervise children, plan lessons, conduct screenings, and engage families to promote school readiness and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with P-3 teaching certification (required)
• The candidate must have one of the following
  • NJ P-3 Certificate of Eligibility
  • NJ P-3 Certificate with Advanced Standing
  • NJ P-3 Standard Certificate
• Experience working with young children (required)
• 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk populations (preferred)
• Head Start Experience (preferred)
