Job summary

Norwescap is seeking a Head Start and/or Early Head Start Classroom Substitute in Wantage, New Jersey. This role is as-needed, paying an hourly wage between $17.28 and $19.59, and offers the chance to gain diverse experience in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with CDA in progress within two years of hire.
• Preferred CDA or Bachelor's in early childhood education or related field.
• Experience with young children preferred; Head Start experience beneficial.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: High school diploma working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.

Preferred Education Level: Child Development Associate (CDA)- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.

Experience: Experience working with young children.

Preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.
