NORWESCAP's Head Start and Early Head Start program in Newton, NJ is seeking a Classroom Substitute to support staff and help maintain a safe, engaging environment for young children.
This role offers flexible hours as needed, up to 8 hours per day, with pay in the $17.28–$19.59 per hour range. You gain diverse experience working with at-risk populations and opportunities for certificates, credentials, and tuition reimbursement. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential.

Minimum Education Level: High school diploma working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.
Preferred Education Level: Child Development Associate (CDA)- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
Experience: Experience working with young children.
Preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.
