Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting is seeking an experienced Center Director for a premier preschool in Sherman, TX. This full-time, year-round role reports to the leadership team and oversees all school operations, including educational programming, events, budgeting, and family relations.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree or higher in an related field, Texas Child Care Director Certification, and at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED Education: Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
• REQUIRED Certification: Texas Child Care Director Certification
• REQUIRED Leadership Experience: 3 years; position titles can include Director, Assistant Director, Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Team/Department Lead
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
• Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
• Develop strong relationships with our families
• Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
• Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to serve in various roles as needed
• Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records

Salary

• $55,000 - $60,000/year pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
