Our client is looking for an experienced and motivatedCenter Directorto join the leadership team at their premier preschool in Mesquite,TX. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Salary

• $55,000 - $60,000/year pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
• Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
• Develop strong relationships with our families
• Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
• Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to serve in various roles as needed
• Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records

Qualifications

• REQUIREDEducation:Associate'sdegree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
• REQUIRED Certification: Texas Child Care Director Certification
• REQUIRED Leadership Experience:3years; position titles can include Director, Assistant Director, Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Team/Department Lead
• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Mustmeet background check eligibility
