Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting is seeking a Center Director for a premier preschool in Greater Athens, GA. The role leads educational programming, budget management, family relations, and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDA, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, and at least two years of leadership experience. This full-time, year-round position includes benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or related field preferred.
• Certified Child Development Associate (CDA) required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in roles such as Director, Assistant Director, or Program Lead.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with infant handling when required.
• Must meet background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the school, focusing on educational programming, events, budget/finances, and health & safety compliance.
• Coach and develop school staff to promote growth and future readiness.
• Develop strong relationships with families and maintain accurate records.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Salary

• $65,000 - $75,000/yearpending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
• Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
• Develop strong relationships with our families
• Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
• Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to serve in various roles as needed
• Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records

Qualifications

• PREFERRED Education:Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.

• REQUIRED Leadership Experience:2years; position titles can include Director, Assistant Director, Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Team/Department Lead
• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
