Job summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Center Director to lead a premier preschool in Central Georgia. You will oversee all school operations, focusing on educational programming, events, budgeting, and staff onboarding.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication, a CDA, and a Bachelor’s or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or related field. This is a full-time, year-round role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or related field.
• CDA certification is required.
• 2 years of leadership experience in roles like Director, Assistant Director, or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with infants as needed.
• Background check eligibility is required.

Salary

• $65,000 - $75,000/yearpending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
• Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
• Develop strong relationships with our families
• Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
• Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to serve in various roles as needed
• Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records

Qualifications

• PREFERRED Education:Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
• REQUIRED Certification:Child Development Associate (CDA)
• REQUIRED Leadership Experience:2years; position titles can include Director, Assistant Director, Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Team/Department Lead
• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
