Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting's client in Sherman, TX is seeking a caring, energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to join their premier preschool. The role is full-time year-round and focuses on 3- to 4-year-olds, including diapering and toilet training as needed.

Salary is $15–$18 per hour, depending on education, credentials, and ECE experience. Benefits include 401(k) with employer match, medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• CDA, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Three years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and assist with infant handling when needed.
• Must meet background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum and maintain educational portfolios.
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Monitor the well-being of each child and communicate with parents about progress.

Responsibilities

• Mustbe able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
