Our client is looking for an experienced leader to join their premier preschool inMesquite, TXasDirector of Education. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who has extensive experience with quality, education, and leadership within a licensed preschool.
This is a Direct Hire position with the school
Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment
Reports To: Executive Director
$45,000-$50,000/yearpending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience.

Lead curriculum implementation to meet student needs andmaintainTexas Rising Star (TRS) standards
Manage classroom setup, materials, and child portfolios
Coordinate staff training with the Executive Director
Collaborate on curriculum alignment and assessment across subjects
Spend 60-70% of time in classroomsobservingand coaching
Conduct quarterly performance evaluations
Develop teachers through mentorship and professional development
Lead ongoing professional development opportunities to promote best practices in teaching and learning
Monitor student data to inform instruction
Report on classroom performance and evaluation results
Lead family engagement initiatives
Manage monthly calendars and seasonal planning
Collaborate on site priorities and program goals
Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent
3-5+ years in an early childhood educationadmin role
5-7+years' experiencein licensed preschools
Extensive knowledge of curriculum implementation, classroom management, and conscious discipline
Experience with Texas Rising Star and NAEYC accreditation standards
Strong skills in classroom observation, assessment, and teacher coaching
Leadership, mentorship, and partnership abilities
Data analysis skills for instructional decision-making
Comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check
