Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting seeks an Executive Director for a premier preschool in Sachse, TX. This senior leader will serve as the onsite face of the school, guiding operations, staffing, curriculum support, and community engagement.

Ideal candidate has 5–7+ years as an on-site administrator in early childhood education, with a CDA or equivalent, and Texas Director credential. Compensation includes a $55,000–$60,000 salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or equivalent in education or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Texas Director credential required.
• 5–7+ years as onsite administrator in early childhood education.
• 10+ years' experience in licensed preschools.
• Experience managing payroll, profit and loss, and school operating systems.
• Knowledge of Texas licensing, Texas Rising Star and NAEYC standards.
• Ability to manage enrollment, site-level admin, scheduling, and QA with data insight.
• Strong educational leadership, mentorship, and team management.
• Proficiency with childcare management and CRM systems; Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior onsite leader of the school and public face in the community.
• Develop and support the Education Director, Program Coordinator, and teaching staff.
• Oversee recruitment, scheduling, and classroom staffing.
• Ensure compliance with Texas licensing and lead to Texas Rising Star 4-star standards.
• Manage monthly P&L, operating expenses, and budget adherence.
• Run payroll and tuition billing in childcare management software.
• Oversee facility quality, safety, supplies, and vendor relations.
• Conduct parent tours and convert enrollment leads to enrolled families.
• Lead marketing and build partnerships to grow enrollment and reputation.
• Partner with Education Director on curriculum quality, teacher coaching, and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent in education or a related field;Bachelor'spreferred

• Texas Director credential

• 5-7+ years as an onsite administrator in early childhood education

• 10+ years' experience in licensed preschools

• Experience managing payroll, profit and loss, and school operating systems

• Working knowledge of Texas licensing compliance and Texas Rising Star and NAEYC accreditation standards

• Proven ability to manage enrollment, site-level administration, scheduling, and quality assurance, and to use data to inform operational decisions

• Strong educational leadership, mentorship, and team management, including curriculum implementation and teacher coaching

• Proficiencywith childcare management and CRM systems, and comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Passion for experiential learning, school culture, and family engagement

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check
