You will follow established routes and school rules, perform daily vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and maintenance. The role requires a valid South Carolina CDL with school bus endorsement (desirable), a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff while upholding safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years related experience.
• Valid SC CDL with school bus endorsement desirable and evidence of a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and staff to and from Head Start centers and activities using established routes.
• Inspect assigned vehicle daily to ensure proper operating condition.
• Maintain records on vehicle maintenance, route descriptions, mileage logs, and fuel purchases.
