Job summary

GLEAMNS Human Resources Commission, Incorporated is seeking a dependable Bus Driver to transport preschool children and staff to Head Start centers and activities. You will follow established routes, maintain safety and cleanliness, and report daily on vehicle status and mileage.

The role requires a valid SC CDL with a school bus endorsement (desirable), a clean driving record, and at least two years of related experience. Strong communication with parents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years related working experience.
• Valid SC Commercial Driver's License with school bus endorsement desirable and evidence of a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and staff to and from Head Start centers and other activities using established routes and procedures.
• Assist in the transportation of vehicles for maintenance and repair.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff about rules and safety procedures.
• Operate bus safely at all times, obey traffic laws and Head Start policies.
• Maintain and inspect the vehicle daily to ensure proper operation and cleanliness.
