Job summary

Anderson Center for Autism is seeking a Preschool Behavior Analyst to lead evidence-based classroom systems, coach educators, and use BST to build staff competency in instructional and behavioral practices.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and leadership to optimize outcomes for preschool students with autism through data-informed decision making and program-wide training.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing or pursuing BCBA with eligibility.
• New York State Certification in Students with Disabilities Birth–Grade 2 preferred.
• Experience with preschool-age children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Knowledge of ABA principles, instructional design, and behavior support systems.
• Ability to train, support, and mentor staff.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teachers and leadership to implement evidence-based classroom systems and instructional programming.
• Conduct classroom observations, assessments, and data analyses to guide decisions.
• Develop IEP-aligned instructional strategies and classroom supports.
• Coach and mentor teachers with ongoing training and feedback.
• Utilize BST methods to ensure staff competency in instructional techniques.
• Administer and interpret assessment data to guide decisions.
• Develop and monitor behavior intervention strategies and data systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated services.
• Lead staff development, performance management, and program-wide training.
• Support program quality, regulatory compliance, and fidelity of instruction.
