Job summary

The Achievement Centers for Children in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to lead behavior analysis services at its Autism School, focusing on language development, behavioral supports, and academic outcomes.

The role includes developing and supervising BIPs, training staff, and collaborating with families and educators to support student growth and a return to a less restrictive learning environment where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavioral Analyst License
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret assessments and reports
• Ability to present information to administration, students, families and the public
• Ability to instruct and support staff on evidence-based practices for autism
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with families and teachers

Responsibilities

• Assess, create, coordinate, and implement behavior analysis services and behavior intervention plans for students with autism
• Develop professional development resources for staff on ABA, CPI and related methodologies
• Create and assist with BIP development and ABA techniques for students with behavior/learning challenges
• Provide direct intervention to students with challenging behaviors and support staff or RBTs
• Support and train parents/guardians
• Know Ohio Department of Education licensing regulations and academic standards K-12+
• Provide and help develop PBIS behavioral services
• Observe and collect data for FBA and BIP implementation
• Develop plans from data and assessments
• Collaborate with families and districts to support social skills and learning
