Job summary

Child Saving Institute (CSI) in Omaha, NE seeks an Assistant Educator to supervise daily classroom activities and provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will foster healthy development through structured learning and maintain daily care records, while communicating effectively with parents.

The role requires 1+ year in early childhood education, strong communication skills, and a CDA or equivalent (or willing to obtain within 12 months).

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in early childhood education or child development.
• Strong communication between staff, clients, and caregivers.
• CDA credential or equivalent (or in progress) with related coursework.
• At least 19 years of age and eligible for CDA or equivalent accreditation within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating daily classroom activities.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment and foster healthy development.
• Engage children with structured learning and age-appropriate activities.
• Keep daily records related to care and progress of each child.
• Communicate effectively with parents and discuss concerns.
