Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales System Engineer Intern to collaborate with our Communications Systems Engineers from concept to implementation. You will help design customer solutions, perform frequency planning, interference analysis, and system architecture decisions, while mentoring by senior engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, have excellent communication skills, and can present to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with expected graduation after Dec 2027.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.
Excellent communications skills; ability to present to non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and able to stay focused in a pressured environment.
Experience with customers desirable.
Knowledge of radio systems, RF, wireless, microwave, and/or networking desirable.
Certifications CCNA, CompTIA, HAM desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop technical strategies and generate proposals to customers with sales.
Coordinate with design and planning of customer solutions; provide tech support during pre-sales.
Involve site selection, frequency planning, interference analysis, system design and equipment selection.
Generate and present proposals to customers.
Handle implementation planning, testing, and system acceptance.
Keep sales teams and customers up-to-date on Motorola Solutions offerings.
