Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales System Engineer Intern to work with engineers on designing radio solutions from concept to implementation. You will assist in pre-sales activities, coordinate with sales and product teams, and help prepare proposals for customers.

The role emphasizes learning with senior engineers and practical exposure to RF, radio networks, and system design. The internship welcomes candidates pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date

Qualifications

High school diploma required; pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with expected graduation date on or after December 2027.
Experience working with customers is desirable.
Knowledge of radio systems, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave, and networking is desirable.
Understanding of communications networks (MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP) and certifications (CCNA, CompTIA, HAM) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist design and planning of customer solutions in pre-sales phase.
Collaborate with sales, product development and project management to develop proposals.
Present proposed solutions to customers and support technical discussions.
Support coverage and site planning, frequency planning, interference analysis, and system architecture selection.
