NexusTek is a U.S.-based managed IT services provider seeking a proactive presales Solutions Engineer who combines technical depth with business acumen to design secure, scalable solutions for MSP clients.

This full-time, remote role is based in PST with up to 20% travel, offers starting salary around $115,000+ plus incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, life and disability cover, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in presales for IT solutions and MSP services.
• Ability to design secure, scalable IT solutions aligned to client goals.
• Comfort presenting to clients and articulating complex tech in business terms.

Responsibilities

• Consult on the sale, design, and delivery of IT products and solutions for MSP projects (managed services, cloud migrations, AI solutions).
• Assess client IT environments and articulate recommendations clearly.
• Develop detailed Statements of Work for clients and internal guidance.
• Create budgets aligned to client goals and IT/business objectives.
• Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for assigned clients.
• Collaborate with sales team on early-stage prospects.
• Partner with executives, account managers, and field staff to deliver excellent service.
• Work in a fast-paced MSP environment with multiple concurrent proposals.
