Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer to provide technical expertise to customers in Asia, Middle East, and Oceana regions prior to sale of Shield AI Aircraft and related products. You will collaborate with customers to understand requirements and demonstrate how our solutions meet their needs, ensuring successful product development through the presales process.

This role acts as a technical force multiplier for the GTM team, driving customer engagement and solution alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical presales, BD, or solutions engineering in defense/aerospace or related gov environments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, applied science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong technical acumen in uncrewed aircraft systems, autonomy concepts, sensor, datalink and ground systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical capture for Asia, Middle East and Oceana opportunities, focusing on V-BAT and related products.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment including engagements, pre-sales support, proposals, and solution development.
• Develop and execute technical strategies to maximize win probability and ensure compliant, high-quality proposals.
• Serve as primary technical lead for GTM engagements, interfacing with BD, GTM Ops, Engineering, Operations, PM and Product Management.
• Manage technical content for proposals, RFIs, white papers, and capability briefs, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Provide SME-level technical expertise to GTM and Account Execs to drive sales outcomes.
• Collaborate with GTM and Engineering to ensure feasibility and alignment with product roadmaps.
• Contribute to technical documentation repositories and sales collateral.
