Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales System Engineer Intern to assist senior engineers in designing radio communication solutions and supporting pre-sales activities for government and public safety projects in the Northeast.

You will collaborate with sales, product development, and project management, perform coverage analysis, frequency planning, and assist with proposals, demonstrations, and deployment planning for customers while pursuing a degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an expected graduation date on or after December 2027.
• U.S. work authorization; employer sponsorship not available.
• Experience working with customers is desirable.
• Knowledge in radio systems, RF, and networking desirable.
• Certifications CCNA, CompTIA, and HAM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing radio systems from concept to implementation.
• Support pre-sales activities and coordination with design and planning.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations and demonstrations for customers.
• Learn coverage testing, site selection, frequency planning and system architecture.
