Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across public safety and enterprise sectors. You will coordinate with sales teams, define technical requirements, and ensure successful deployments of mobile voice/data networks and CAD/command & control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience or 8+ years equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to present technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales team to deliver end-to-end, customer-driven solutions for first responder, government, and enterprise customers.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely, quality technical implementations.
• Provide engineering services including commissioning, testing, and system presentations per contract obligations.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product availability; coordinate with product groups for modifications.
• Work with operations and external developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
