Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and end-to-end project implementations, collaborating with the Sales Team to deliver world-class, customer-driven solutions for first responders, utilities, transportation, and enterprise customers across the country.

You will define directions, perform system setup and testing, prepare bids, and coordinate with operations and product groups to meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4+ years sales/engineering/public safety experience
• 8+ years sales, sales engineering, public safety experience
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred
• Strong written and oral communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for customers nationwide.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contracts.
• Preparation of system bids, taking into account the customer's needs and the equipment available, as well as any modifications required with product teams.
• Work with operations as well as other internal and external developers of the networking products and systems to meet customer's delivery requirements and deadlines.
