Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in preparing meals and serving residents in a restaurant-style dining setting called the “Bread Basket.”

Responsibilities include meal preparation, timely service, accurate plating, and maintaining cleanliness and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes resident interaction, diet adherence, and collaboration with the Kitchen Manager. Benefits are available and daily pay is offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and properly plated.
• Ensure kitchen and dining service follows Bickford’s processes.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans per dishwashing procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Track resident diets, allergies and preferences using the Meal Order Information form.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Keep kitchen and dining room clean to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
