Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in our Bread Basket dining experience. You will prepare meals, ensure correct temperatures and plating, and interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.

The role emphasizes adherence to menus, dietary needs, regulatory requirements, and maintaining cleanliness. Benefits and daily pay options are available for eligible employees across full-time, part-time, and PRN roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and plated appropriately.
• Ensure kitchen and service processes are followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans per dishwashing procedures.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use Meal Order Information to follow diets, allergies and preferences.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness to meet expectations.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events refreshments.
