Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in a restaurant-style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.” You will prepare meals, serve residents, and uphold Bickford’s standards and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities include following menus, ensuring proper temperatures, interacting with residents, and assisting with tours and events as needed. Benefits vary by status and include daily pay options.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford menus and standards.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and properly plated.
• Follow Kitchen Daily Task Guide and procedures.
• Interact with residents during meals to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes and pots as per dishwashing guidelines.
• Record resident diets/allergies from Meal Order Information.
• Store food per regulatory and policy requirements.
• Complete tasks from Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas to meet cleanliness standards.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
