The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a Prep Cook to join our high-volume kitchen in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. You’ll prepare hundreds of recipes, follow precise prep lists, and work with a supportive team focused on consistency and quality.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list with speed and urgency.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and portions.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills: chopping, dicing, slicing.
• Use cooking methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sauteing, frying, grilling.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items; sauces, dressings, soups.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills, mixers, slicers.
• Label and rotate food using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain organization, safety, cleanliness and sanitation.
