The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a Prep Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team. You will follow a prep list, read recipes, and prepare ingredients with knife skills and precision to support hundreds of menu items.

You will work with a range of cooking methods, operate essential kitchen equipment, and ensure food safety and quality while maintaining speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations preferred.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and portions.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and culinary techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and complete tasks efficiently.
• Read recipes and measure ingredients accurately.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills for multiple menu items.
• Cook using methods such as boiling, broiling, roasting, sauteing, frying, and grilling.
• Prepare sauces, dressings, and soups for 200+ menu items.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills, tilt skillets, mixers, and slicers.
• Label, date, and rotate food using FIFO methods.
• Maintain organization, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
