Job summary

Puttery in Miami, Florida is looking for a dedicated Prep Cook who will prepare ingredients and menu components according to our recipes and standards. You’ll keep stations stocked, organized, and clean, ensuring safe, sanitary work environments throughout each shift.

In this role, you’ll support kitchen operations during busy service, label and store items properly, and assist in training new team members when requested.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred; multiple station experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of basic cooking and preparation methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and measuring
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas throughout the shift
• Label, date, and store all food items properly for freshness and safety
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Work quickly and efficiently to support timely food preparation
• Communicate equipment, product, or supply needs to management promptly
• Assist in training new kitchen team members when requested
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
