Job summary

Pura Vida Miami in Florida is seeking a motivated cook to prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. You will set up stations, stock supplies, and ensure timely food preparation in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain a clean workstation, collaborate with the back-of-house team, assist with deliveries, and be willing to cross-train across restaurant roles to support growth and team success. Prior food production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a food production facility or fast-paced restaurant.
• Food Handler certification obtained at applicant’s expense.
• Strong cooking knowledge and ability to follow recipes.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced setting with multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with good time management and organization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiar with standard measurement systems and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
