Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a food production facility or fast-paced restaurant.
• Local/municipal Food Handler certification.
• Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiar with standard measurement systems.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients as per recipes and kitchen needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring proper storage of all food.
• Assist chefs by measuring and mixing ingredients and performing other prep tasks.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory by labeling and storing ingredients and notifying the Kitchen Manager of low stock.
• Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks in the kitchen.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in storage areas.
• Show willingness to cross-train across roles to enable growth.
• Support with additional duties as assigned.
