Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory is seeking Prep Cooks to join a fast-paced, full-service kitchen. You will help with scratch cooking, preparing hundreds of recipes and supporting back-of-house operations.

You’ll work with a team that values food quality, consistency, and efficient service across high-volume shifts. Daily duties include following prep lists, reading recipes precisely, and using knife skills to prepare ingredients for 200+ menu items.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling and safety standards.
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and complete tasks efficiently with speed and urgency.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements for consistency.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills and various cooking methods.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items including sauces and soups.
• Operate kitchen equipment and maintain organization and safety.
• Label, date, and rotate food using FIFO; follow safety procedures.
• Support teamwork and communicate clearly; work well under pressure.
