Job summary

TAO Group Hospitality's Hakkasan Las Vegas is seeking a part-time Prep Cook to support the heart-of-house in preparing hot and cold dishes, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely production.

The role requires the ability to follow recipes, maintain a clean station, work in a fast-paced environment, and cooperate with chefs and staff; previous culinary experience is preferred, with the potential for growth within TAO's renowned venues.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Experience as a prep and/or line cook in a high-volume culinary operation preferred.
• Must be able to write, read, and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of hot and cold dishes following recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the prep station and kitchen.
• Label, store, and rotate items using FIFO.
• Set up prep station and perform opening/closing tasks as directed.
• Communicate product needs to chefs and kitchen staff.
• Work as part of a team to ensure quality and hospitality.
