Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a part-time Prep Cook for Hakkasan Las Vegas. You will support heart-of-house by preparing hot and cold items, ensuring quality and consistency while maintaining station cleanliness and FIFO standards. Strong teamwork and ability to follow recipes and chef directions are essential.

Ideal candidates have prior culinary experience and can work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role involves opening/closing duties and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to move quickly.
• Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of hot and cold menu items according to recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the prep station, kitchen, and venue.
• Label and store product following FIFO and company standards.
• Communicate product needs to chefs and staff; follow supervisor’s instructions.
