Job summary

Flanigan in Kendall, FL is seeking a Prep Cook to organize kitchen prep and support during service. You’ll chop, weigh, and set up stations, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely dish assembly. You’ll help keep the kitchen stocked, labeled, and clean, and assist with dishwashing as needed.

You must read recipes, follow safety standards, and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. The role includes a paid vacation plan and standard benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible shift schedule which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to read recipes and food labels; understand POS ticket orders.
• Communicates ticket times and supports food flow from kitchen to guests.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Prepares menu items according to recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation of products and stocks to par level to prevent disruption.
• Assists with prep work, stocking and stations setup.
• Transports items to and from the kitchen and helps unload deliveries.
• Cleans and maintains the kitchen area during shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
