PopStroke Holdings LLC is seeking a prep cook to support our kitchen operations in Florida. The role involves preparing ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards to ensure smooth meal service.

You will work with a team to coordinate timing, handle inventory, and assist with opening/closing procedures. Weekend and holiday availability is required for this role.

Competenze

• Previous prep cook experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating, following recipes and portion guidelines.
• Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste.
• Organize and stock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth workflow during meal service.
• Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation in all the kitchen areas, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas, following food safety regulations.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure food quality and freshness.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and workflow.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with dishwashing duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
