Los Tacos No. 1 is hiring a Prep Cook to support kitchen operations by preparing and organizing ingredients for menu items. The role requires attention to detail, fast-paced efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.

You will chop vegetables, marinate meats, portion condiments, and work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is a plus for this position.

• Previous experience in a food preparation role.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.

Mansioni

• Assist in preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning condiments according to recipes.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure stock levels for upcoming shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols and proper storage/ labeling.
• Coordinate with cook/taqueros to ensure efficient peak-hour flow.
• Assist in quality control by inspecting ingredients for freshness and proper presentation.
• Be willing to help with dishwashing and organization of workstations.
