Los Tacos No. 1 is hiring a Tortilla Prep to support our kitchen operations by preparing and organizing ingredients for cooking and menu assembly. You will help maintain stock levels, follow safety protocols, and work with cooks and taqueros to ensure a smooth flow during peak hours.

The role requires previous food preparation experience, basic food safety knowledge, and the ability to follow recipes with precision. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning condiments according to recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure adequate stock for upcoming shifts; assist with inventory organization and rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper function of kitchen equipment and follow cleaning procedures.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols including storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients.
• Collaborate with cooks and taqueros to coordinate preparation and ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness and ensure consistency in portion sizes and presentation.
• Assist with general kitchen duties including dishwashing and workstation organization.
