The ONE Group is seeking a Prep Cook for our STK Aventura team in Florida. You will prep, portion, and organize ingredients to support the culinary team, ensuring recipes are followed and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates bring prior prep cook or similar experience, strong knife skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous Prep Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic culinary techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, proteins, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes and specifications.
• Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and herbs for use in various dishes.
• Assist with butchering meat, filleting fish, and handling proteins as needed.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products to prevent waste.
• Ensure the prep station is fully stocked, clean, and always organized.
• Work closely with chefs and line cooks to ensure smooth kitchen flow.
• Follow recipe guidelines and portion controls to maintain consistency and quality.
• Assist in the daily mise en place, ensuring all necessary prep is completed before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, following all health department regulations.
• Execute tasks assigned by Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism and enthusiasm.
