The One Group in Minnesota is seeking a Prep Cook to join our high-energy culinary team. You will execute high-quality menu items with precision, maintaining THE ONE GROUP's standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and safety, prepping ingredients, and collaborating with BOH and FOH. The role requires prior prep cook/line cook experience and a passion for teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency with various cooking methods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all dishes from the assigned station with precision and efficiency.
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards for consistency.
• Read and process food tickets accurately to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times.
• Execute menu items with proper technique, timing, and attention to detail.
• Assist with daily prep tasks, stocking ingredients, and kitchen setup.
• Keep storage and production areas properly organized and maintained.
• Collaborate with BOH and FOH teams to ensure seamless service.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and maintain a safe kitchen.
• Perform tasks assigned by Chefs and Sous Chefs with professionalism and enthusiasm.
