STK San Francisco is seeking a driven Prep Cook to support our culinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You’ll prep ingredients, follow recipes precisely, and help maintain top food safety standards while contributing to the seamless execution of our signature menu.

Ideal candidates bring strong knife skills, focus, and a team-first attitude, with the stamina to stand for long shifts and handle lifting up to 50 lbs. Night, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a prep cook role in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knife skills and basic culinary techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain quality under tight timelines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, proteins, sauces, and garnishes per recipes.
• Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
• Assist with butchering meat, filleting fish, and handling proteins as needed.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products.
• Ensure prep station is stocked, clean, and organized; support kitchen workflow.
