Sifted is hiring a Prep Cook who is eager to learn and grow with our company. You will work alongside our managing chef and sous chef in a fast-paced commissary kitchen, supporting daily lunch service for startups and events.

Responsibilities include setting up and sanitizing workstations, following prep lists, measuring ingredients, and keeping areas clean. The role offers health insurance, a 401(k) after six months, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Handler certification required.
• Kitchen experience in prep or dishwashing preferred.
• Experience with catering and events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and sanitize workstations.
• Follow daily prep lists and measure ingredients.
• Prepare cooking ingredients and support cooking process.
• Maintain clear communication with chefs and city manager.
• Keep station and work areas clean.
• Take ownership of tasks as assigned.
