Old Spaghetti Factory in Redlands, CA is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll prepare a variety of ingredients with precision, follow prep lists, and help ensure a smooth, efficient service.

No experience required; basic kitchen knowledge is helpful. You’ll work in a collaborative environment with paid training and weekly pay, plus opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen knowledge preferred but no experience required.
• Great at following direction and step by step instruction with accuracy.
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team with excellent communication.
• Able to prioritize tasks safely and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. continuously stand, walk, reach, bend in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and chop produce, measure ingredients, prep stations by following prep list.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling.
• Work closely with the kitchen team ensuring proper food preparation for a smooth and efficient food service
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing cleaning tasks, sanitizing equipment and organizing food storage.
• Follow safety policies and procedures including proper knife and kitchen utensil handling and wearing proper protective gear and maintaining a safe working environment.
