The Old Spaghetti Factory in Spokane, WA is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This entry-level role focuses on precise prep, teamwork, and kitchen safety in a fast-paced environment.

You'll wash and chop produce, assist with station prep, and follow direction to help deliver consistent meals every shift. Paid training and flexible scheduling are offered to support your development.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen knowledge preferred but no experience required.
• Great at following direction and step by step instruction with accuracy.
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team with excellent communication.
• Able to prioritize tasks safely and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. continuously stand, walk, reach, bend in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and chop produce, measure ingredients, prep stations by following prep list.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling.
• Work closely with the kitchen team ensuring proper food preparation for a smooth and efficient food service
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing cleaning tasks, sanitizing equipment and organizing food storage.
• Follow safety policies and procedures including proper knife and kitchen utensil handling and wearing proper protective gear and maintaining a safe working environment.
