Job summary

Puttshack USA in Natick, MA is seeking a Prep Cook to support our elevated, tech-infused restaurant concept. You will prep ingredients, set up the prep station, stock inventory and maintain sanitation to meet Chef's exacting standards.

Our venues operate 7 days a week with flexible, variable schedules between 15–30 hours weekly, offering competitive pay and a benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, PTO, and associate discounts on mini golf and dining.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
• Prepare all ingredients according to portions and recipes
• Communicate inventory or quality issues to Culinary Leadership
• Ability to read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
