Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Prep Cook to join the Red Circle Inn team. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to a memorable dining experience for guests.

This role requires ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days, the ability to work irregular hours, and the confidence to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience, non-fast food restaurant and/or training in a culinary school required.
• Have ServSafe Certification or be willing to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Be able to keep up with a fast paced environment.
• Position subject to irregular hours to include late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to perform with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to recipes using correct handling procedures; maintain proper par levels of production per prep sheets.
• Test foods by tasting and taking temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Stock workstation and ensure ingredients are ready for meal periods.
• Know menu ingredients and how to build each dish to order.
• Label and rotate perishable items and clean station after each shift.
