Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a part-time Prep Cook in New York to ensure quality, consistency, and production of all food items. You will prepare cooking ingredients, follow TAO standards, and maintain sanitation while supporting a fast-paced venue environment.

Training includes Tao Group in-venue prep cook training, with potential for growth in a dynamic hospitality setting that values teamwork and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to move quickly.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing, chopping, and other meal preparations.
• Labels and stores products following FIFO and company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the station, kitchen, and venue.
• Follow recipes and TAO Standards; execute prep to specification.
• Set up prep station and perform opening/closing tasks as directed.
